Based in the Canary Islands, Andy McLeod is an award winning Director of Photography and Underwater Cameraman with more than 25 years experience shooting advertising commercials, drama for cinema & TV and documentaries, on both film & video. Andy also works regularly across the globe, and assignments have taken to every continent on the planet.

Often working in harsh environments, Andy specialises in themes involving the human interaction with the natural world including aerials, action, adventure, extreme sports, wild-life, marine & underwater, and even a bit of fashion! He is also experienced in black & white and colour Infra-red cinematography.

As well as working on land, Andy is also an experienced underwater cameraman and operator & pilot of drones. He has extensive equipment available including RED Gemini with anamorphic lenses, underwater housings for RED Dragon, lighting, grip and multicopters, and has his own regular team of assistants and technicians for shooting on land, under the sea and in the air.

Andy works regularly as 2nd Unit DoP/Camera Operator in the Canary Islands for feature films and commercials, and is happy working remotely under the direction of the main DoP and director.
